                Robert Frost's New England
                Source: Amazon
Author: Betsy Melvin, Tom Melvin, and Robert Frost
                State: VT
From an Amazon reader: "This book elegantly pairs Frost's poems with corresponding photos. Often the poems accompany a two page photo spread. The photography is good, although the image quality on paper isn't fabulous. It's nice to read his poems and have images of New England bring them to life." (2000)

                City: Boston, State: MA
From an Amazon reader: "What a treat to have this updated version of the author's classic history of Boston. It remains the best history of this fascinating old, and new, city." (1999)

And the Crowd Goes Wild: Relive the Most Celebrated Sporting Events Ever Broadcast (Book and 2 Audio CDs)
                Source: Amazon.com
Author: Joe Garner and Bob Costas (narrator)
From an Amazon reader: "It's hard not to cry when you hear Lou Gherig's farewell speech, or when the 1980 hockey team beats the Soviets, or 'The Giants win the Pennant! The Giants win the pennant!' This book is good, but the CDs are better, because you can imagine listening to the events for the first time and getting caught up in the excitement. Some are less exciting (can you really have a tense golf moment on radio?), but all are inspirational. I got goosebumps from each one. The Stanford-Cal play is still the best piece of sports announcing ever." (2000)

From an Amazon reader: "A great coffee table book I've owned for a few years, this book is full of interesting facts that are put together in an interesting way. Not a hard-core history book by any means. Not really in-depth, either. Pretty pictures make it good for all ages of reading." (1994)
